Next Steps
The publication of this consultation document is the first stage in this phase of the service development process.
A project team of the relevant clinical and managerial staff has been appointed.
It is their job to develop the clinical protocols, analyse patient reasons for going to A&E and their subsequent treatment, and undertake a financial appraisal.
Once the consultation has been completed, all views received will be taken into account in developing the final plan.
