Regional Innovation Fund Project – Customer Insight for Intelligent Commissioning Toolkit.
The Regional Innovation Fund (RIF) Project has developed an evidence-based process for identifying targeted social marketing interventions to tackle health needs.
Customer insight helps commissioners and decision-makers target their social marketing interventions to achieve positive behaviour change amongst targeted disadvantaged populations.
Working collaboratively with the public, private and academic sectors across the East Midlands, the project team sought to blend the ‘information worlds’ of academic research, NHS expertise and private sector consumer insight to develop an evidence-based process.
This evidence-based process has been developed into ‘The CIIC Toolkit’ (Customer Insight for Intelligent Commissioning Toolkit)
The RIF Project developed the CIIC Toolkit and applied it to childhood obesity as a case study; however, the CIIC Toolkit aims to support all health issues.
