NHS Nottinghamshire County leads the local NHS. As a primary Care Trust, we plan and pay for health services for 660,000 people in:
- Ashfield
- Broxtowe
- Gedling
- Mansfield
- Newark and Sherwood
- Rushcliffe

Our main roles are to:
- Identify the health needs of local people, and then meet those needs.
- Commission the entire range of health services, from routine check-ups to life-saving operations.
- Improve peoples length and quality of life.
- Encourage everyone to live healthily.
- Police services to keep them high-quality and safe.
- Ensure the local NHS gives best value for money.
- Give people a say in what the local NHS does.
Our overall aim is to improve the health and well being of people in Nottinghamshire.
