Out of hours services

If you or your family needs medical attention when your GP practice is closed you can access our GP out-of-hours service.

The service is available 6pm-8am Monday to Friday, and round the clock on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.

If you need to see a GP out-of-hours ring the usual phone number for your doctors surgery. Your call will be automatically transferred to our out-of-hours service.

A qualified health advisor will assist your needs and decide on an appropriate course of action.

Your own GP will be told what has happened as soon as the surgery re-opens.

In Nottinghamshire County the out-of-hours service is run by Central Nottinghamshire Clinical Services (CNCS). CNCS is a social enterprise made up of local GPs.
