Making it easier to see a GP

We are taking part in the national GP Access programme which aims to improve peoples health by making it easier for all patients to see a GP.

Despite generally high levels of patient satisfaction, the public have told us that their number one priority for improving the NHS further would be to make it easier to see a GP at times that are more convenient for them, for example in the evening or at weekends.

We have set aside £2.3m to help local GPs extend their opening hours to offer more bookable appointments. Standard opening hours of GP surgeries are 8am-6.30pm, Monday-Friday. Extended hours are any times outside of this. Below are details of those GP practices in Nottinghamshire county currently offering extended opening hours.
