Check your choices

Your GP, or a nominated person in the practice, can advise you on which hospital or clinics you could attend. You can choose the hospital with the best medical reputation, shortest waiting times, lowest infection rates, good parking facilities or simply the one that is most convenient to you.

There is information on a national website to help you compare hospital services. Search on www.nhsuk/ServiceDirectories for information to help you make your choice. If you don’t have web access, you can get this information from your GP Practice or the Patient Advisory and Liaison Service (PALs).
